Location: our house is located within walking distance (50m) from mini markets, restaurants, snack bars and tourist shops and offers convenience without compromising on tranquility. Public transportation is easily accessible to Myrtia Square which is located just outside our complex for further exploration of the island.

Facilities

Two carefully designed independent bedrooms are waiting for you to rest. The first bedroom has a comfortable double bed, accompanied by ample closet space and a unique view of the sea and the island of Telendos. The second bedroom offers two single beds that easily convert to a double bed, ensuring restful sleep according to your preferences and excellent mountain views. With two independent bathrooms with showers, your comfort and privacy are ensured throughout your stay. In case of a baby, we have a cot and highchair for our little friends.

You can reach Villa Maria by taxi or private transfer from the port (Pothia) of Kalymnos or from Kalymnos airport. The distance is 8.2 km (15 minutes) from Kalymnos port and 6 km (10 minutes) from Kalymnos airport.

We recommend you rent a vehicle (car, scooter etc.) so that you can explore the island easily.

☺Where do I begin? A Stunning Cottage in a perfect location with an amazing view. 

Immaculate, very clean with every detail fot a short or long stay wel thought out (4 different coffee/espresso maker!). 

Our host (Maria) welcomed us like a family. Responded to all inquieries/questions very promptly.

☺Ein wunderbar dekoriert und eingerichtetes Haus direkt am Strand mit Blick auf die Insel Telendos - einfach perfekt! Maria Lena hat uns sehr nett begrüßt und zu jeder Frage gab es schnell Antwort und Lösung. Im Haus ist alles was man braucht, super Küchenausstattung, großartige Betten. Alles sehr neuwertig, hübsch und gepflegt. Zur Begrüßung gab es Wein, Obst, Wasser, Zwieback und sehr leckerer Honig, auch Kaffee und Tee war vorhanden. In unmittelbarer Nähe ein Supermarkt mit gutem Angebot und mit "The Puente" ein Top Lokal für Frühstück und Brunch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Haus schon Freunden empfohlen und planen für etwas länger wieder zu kommen.
On-Top: Von der Terrasse der traumhafte Sonnenuntergang hinter der Insel Telendos und die Bote nach Telendos fahren nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt ab - super auf der kleinen Insel in den Tavernen Essen zu gehen und überhaupt die kleine entspannte Insel ohne Autos zu besuchen.

☹Zwei Kleinigkeiten als Vorschlag: Es gibt eine überdachte Terrasse mit Esstisch, toll wäre auch ein Sonnenschutz bei den Sonnenliegen - wenn man da mit einen Sonnenschirm nachrüsten könnte wäre das großartig. 
Und der Strom im Haus funktioniert nur, wenn die Schlüsselkarte gesteckt ist (mit Ausnahme vom Kühlschrank) - super wäre es auch die Waschmaschine und zumindest eine Steckdose freizugeben, wenn man das Haus verlässt. Wir hatten Standtücher gewaschen und wollten Schwimmen gehen und mussten warten bis die Wäsche fertig ist ... oder auch wäre es super, das Handy zu laden, während man am Strand ist. Das Licht und AC aus sind kein Problem, aber diese zwei Kleinigkeiten freizugeben, wäre großartig und sicher nicht negativ im Energieverbrauch.

 10Verified ☺Στρατηγικη τοποθεσία με θεα θαλασσα. Εξοπλισμενα δωματια με αψογη επικοινωνια με ιδιοκτητες. Ολες οι δραστηριοτητες και σουπερ μαρκετ και εστιατορια με τα ποδια. Παραλιες και Τελενδο ολα σε αποσταση αναπνοης. Μεγαλο σπιτι με παρκινγκ.

 Verified Absolutely fabulous! The villa is in the most beautiful (and most convenient) place. We sat on the terrace (or in our bed) every day watching the boats go by. Inside the villa is cool (great air con) spacious and immaculateRight from making the booking Andreas the agent was in touch offering booking ferry ride, taxis etc. and kept in touch.Stella was there when we arrived to welcome us, show us how things worked and some food and wine.  Verified Een van de meest comfortabele vakantiehuizen waar we hebben verbleven. Fijne slaapkamers, ruime keuken waar alles aanwezig is en dan ook nog zo dicht aan zee. Het strandje een klein stukje verderop is heerlijk om te zwemmen en heel leuk dat je zo op de boot naar de overkant kan stappen. Fijne communicatie met de hosts. Enige minpunt is dat er op het terras van het hotel ernaast een groot deel van de dag muziek wordt gedraaid, waardoor je het rustgevende geluid van de zee niet echt kunt horen.

 Verified We loved our stay at Villa Maria! The location was perfect for us. We loved relaxing by the beach after a day of climbing and we loved that everything was close - delicious restaurants, access to fresh water, a market, etc. It is also a short walk to everything in Masouri. We rented vehicles to easily/quickly access climbing areas. Having two bathrooms was extra helpful as our group consisted of two men and a woman. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to all of our friends (climbers and non climbers alike)!

 Verified The house is breathtaking and the surrounding is even more beautiful than pictures… the view of Telendos is fantastic, the sound of the waves, the pine trees, the food in restaurants was beyond belief. Kind and welcoming Marialena and Stella greeted us like family. They are warm, kind and most loving hosts. They made us feel right at home. Waking up to a picture-postcard overlooking the sea is idillic with bar's, taverna's, supermarkets, cafes and a ferry across to Telendos island a short walk away. The owner and property management team were very helpful, flexible on access and departure times and organised a taxi from the ferry to the villa which worked out perfectly.Will certainly stay again.

Zowel het huis aan de zee als het iets hoger gelegen huis zijn mooi, proper en zeer goed uitgerust met alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt. Zeer aangename gastvrouw die de panden met liefde en zorgzaamheid behandeld en verhuurd. Toplocatie met alle nodige faciliteiten in de buurt van winkels, supermarkten tot bars en restaurants. Marialena and Andreas were very kind hosts, who were very helpful in making our stay as enjoyable as possible.
The villa is beautiful and in our opinion the best in the front line of all of Myrties and Masouri.
The sunsets were the best of all of our holiday in Kalymnos, and the location is absolutely perfect for everything. Those complaining about not being able to swim on the beach below the house are being petty, it’s literally a 1 minute walk to the better beach which is not a problem at all.
We would highly recommend this villa to anyone look to stay in Myrties / Masouri, it’s amazing!!!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Das Haus ist komplett eingerichtet und zum großen Teil auch neu renoviert. Bei voller Belegung und Verpflegung im Haus würde man wahrscheinlich einen Geschirrspüler vermissen. Dafür gibt es aber eine Waschmaschine. Die angestrichenen „Sperrholzmöbel“ auf der Terrasse und das billig wirkende Plastikmobiliar könnten vielleicht ersetzt werden.
Gestört hat uns, dass wir nicht direkt unterhalb des Hauses baden konnten, wegen großer Steine im Wasser. Gäste des angrenzenden Hotels sitzen in nahem Abstand tagsüber auf deren Terrasse, abends kann es dann auch mal lauter werden und der Pool wird gerne lautstark von Kindern genutzt. Das alles muss man mögen.
